MX100, MW100, or equivalent MX100 or MW100 Main Module

MX150 Base Plate

PC * That the software required for the test is installed

Insulation resistance tester DC500 V

Withstanding voltage tester AC 1 kV–3 kV

DMM M/7561 or equivalent

* Ensure that the module settings and measured values can be read in.

Cautions When Performing This Test

Connect to the PC only when performing the digital output test.

2.11.1 Insulation Resistance Test

For this test, the Ten-Channel, Medium-Speed Digital Output Module is installed with the

MX100, MW100, or equivalent device.

When installing the DO module onto the main unit, always fasten with screws.

Procedure

Wire the instruments as shown below then measure the insulation resistance.

M: Insulation resistance tester

Measure the insulation resistance between the wire shorting the NO and C

terminals of channels 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, and the wire shorting the NO and C

terminals of channels 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.

The N.C. terminals are not connected.
