ParameterManagerhasthefollowingfunctions.HART/FOUNDATIONeldbusH1

devices are supported.

1. Uploads device parameters.

2. Exportsandimportsparametersto/fromTSVles.

 TSV:extention is txt (Text File Tab Separated).

3. Comparestheparametersoftheconnecteddevicewiththoseimportedfromale

and checks differences.

4. Selects the parameters for download and then downloads them to the device.

5. Enables parameters freely selected by the user from all the parameters to be

assigned to a Custom tab for up to 5 groups. The selection becomes a common

denitionforidenticaldevicemodels.ForFOUNDATIONeldbusH1devices,

parameterassignmentispossibleacrossFOUNDATIONeldbusH1blocks.

ADD(DeviceDescription)lecorrespondingtothedeviceisrequiredtousethesefunctions.DD

lesareprovidedbydevicevendors.The“DeviceFilesMedia”includesredistributableDDles

obtained from the HART Communication Foundation and Fieldbus Foundation.
